INTERNATIONAL AI ADVANCEMENT INSTITUTE
Terms of Use
Last Updated: Mar 31,2026
The International AI Advancement Institute (IAIAI) is an affiliate of the Canadian AI Advancement Institute (CAIAI) based in Canada and subject to Canadian law.
The International AI Advancement Institute (“IAIAI”) provides educational content, demonstrations, and training materials for informational purposes only. IAIAI does not provide legal, financial, medical, human resources, cybersecurity, or other professional advice. Learners should consult qualified professionals before relying on or implementing any concept covered in IAIAI materials.
You are solely responsible for evaluating, testing, validating, approving, implementing, and monitoring any AI tools, workflows, prompts, models, model outputs, datasets, or configurations you choose to use. You must ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, sectoral rules, institutional/organizational policies (including privacy, confidentiality, and data-handling rules), licensing terms, and professional standards. IAIAI does not control or is responsible for your end use.
Courses may reference or interact with third-party tools or services (e.g., AI models, APIs, datasets, plugins). Third-party tools are provided “as is” by their providers and may change, degrade, become unavailable, or produce inaccurate, biased, or harmful content. You are responsible for verifying accuracy and fitness for your purpose and for obtaining any necessary permissions or licenses for data or content you upload or use.
Do not upload or input confidential, personal, health, financial, student, or otherwise regulated data unless you have lawful authority and appropriate safeguards. You warrant that you have all rights and consents to provide any data you submit and that your use will not infringe or violate any rights or laws.
THE IAIAI AND ITS INSTRUCTORS, STAFF, AND AFFILIATES PROVIDE ALL COURSES, MATERIALS, TEMPLATES, DEMONSTRATIONS, AND RESOURCES “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR RESULTS. IAIAI does not warrant that any AI workflow, configuration, output, or recommendation will be accurate, secure, compliant, or suitable for your specific use case.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IAIAI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IAIAI’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO A SPECIFIC COURSE OR MATERIALS IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID TO IAIAI FOR THAT COURSE OR MATERIALS (EXCLUDING TAXES). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
IAIAI has no obligation to indemnify learners beyond the limitation set out above.
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IAIAI and its instructors, staff, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or deployment of AI tools, workflows, prompts, datasets, or outputs; (b) your uploaded or provided content/data; or (c) your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a published course-specific refund policy, all purchases of courses and learning materials are final and non-refundable. Where consumer protection laws require a cooling-off or specific remedy, IAIAI will comply with those minimum requirements.
IAIAI may update, improve, rearrange, or discontinue any course, module, lab environment, or feature at any time. IAIAI does not guarantee uninterrupted access and may suspend or limit access for maintenance, security, legal, or business reasons. If a material change substantially reduces core course content after your purchase, IAIAI will provide a reasonable alternative (e.g., updated dates, replacement content of comparable learning value). IAIAI is not liable for third-party outages (e.g., AI model/API downtime) or for delays caused by your network, device, or organizational policies.
You agree to complete assessments honestly and refrain from any conduct that misrepresents your identity or work. You will not submit AI-generated or third-party work as your own unless expressly permitted, and you will follow any disclosure rules we specify for AI-assisted work. Prohibited conduct includes plagiarism, unauthorized collaboration, sharing answers or solutions, circumvention of proctoring, and tampering with course systems. Violations may result in grading penalties, revocation of certificates, removal from a course without refund, and/or notification to your institution or employer, where applicable.
All IAIAI course content—including text, videos, slides, labs, datasets, templates, code samples, images, and assessments—and all IAIAI names, logos, and marks are owned by IAIAI or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the materials solely for your personal, non-commercial learning during the course and for your reasonable study reference afterward. You may not copy, reproduce, record, screenshot, download at scale, distribute, publicly display, publish, mirror, scrape, train models on, sell, sublicense, or otherwise exploit the materials, nor remove notices or trademarks. You may not use IAIAI’s trademarks (including word marks and logos) without prior written permission. If you believe content has been used in a way that constitutes infringement, contact us with sufficient detail so we can assess and respond.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in British Columbia for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your participation.
Sections 1–14 (and any other provisions that by their nature should survive) survive termination or completion of the course.
